Mustang On the Bay - Embacadero South, San Diego- 10/6/02

Mustangs On the Bay is the annual car show hosted by the San Diego Mustang Club. While SDMC is classic-centric, as evidenced by the classing for the cars in the show where every single year of the sixties had multiple designations while 94+ were all lumped into single classes, Wicked Stangs and other modern stang clubs (like SVT Crew) showed up for some fun. Having a mustang show on a grassy park by the bay is pure genius and the weather couldn't have been nicer. WS had a good showing with, I think, nine cars in the show, and four of us, including yours truly, taking trophies...

... ok, so I got second place out of a category with two entrants. A trophy's a trophy. Phhhtt. Heh.

The pictures were taking from the parking lot meet prior to going to the show, some initial setup, and then the end of the show. This was for two reasons: 1) They organized the show to put class with class, instead of allowing us to be grouped together by club, so there wasn't much photo-op until the end of the show where 2) everyone (read: PHA) wanted to take advantage of the primo location to take some portraits of their rides, right, Pha? Heh. Oh yeah, last thing, these pics are all sized down for the web, as well as color-balanced for my (possibly) weird tastes, if you want the full-sized/un-balanced pic of your stang, drop me a line.
